Optimec Systems Limited and Advance Medical are pleased to announce their collaboration on the development of a new approach to contact lens metrology.
The integration of FocalPoints and the is830 lens imaging system promises to revolutionise geometric inspection systems by utilising Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technology to provide faster, more accurate, and more informative data across multiple stages of production.
The FP/is830 Integration opens up access to the comprehensive range of measurements of geometric lens parameters provided by the is830's non-contact OCT measurement technology.
Integration of the FocalPoints environment with the is830 product line allows for the inspection process to be streamlined through a simple barcode scanning process. All sample parameters are transferred automatically, and quantitative and qualitative controls become fast and intuitive. This ensures a quick measurement process and eliminates data entry errors. All measurement results are stored in the lens history for full traceability.
